It does no one any good to have a yacht broker who proposes an asking price and a probable selling price for your yacht which is based more on his estimate of what it will take to get you to sign a listing agreement then on research and an understanding of real life market conditions.

    Third, make sure that your yacht broker has a real marketing plan to sell your boat. Simply listing a yacht on the multiple listing sites is not the way to sell a luxury yacht at a good price. Your sales effort needs a real marketing plan, a budget which you understand and approve and an active and enthusiastic representative.
